The Leaper

This piece depicts a Humpback Whale joyously attempting a back flip. The Humpback is a common resident of the Arctic during summer months and generally travels to the Baha Peninsula area of California and Mexico for mating and calving. This alabaster looks much like Serpentine and has a lovely almost velvety surface, so be sure to touch it.
